Ingredients:
- 300g sushi rice
- 4 sheets nori seaweed
- 200g fresh salmon fillet, thinly sliced
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- Soy sauce, for dipping
- Wasabi, for serving
- Pickled ginger, for serving
- Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice, then let it cool down a bit
On a bamboo sushi mat, put a sheet of nori
Leave an inch of space at the top of the nori sheet and spread a thin layer of sushi rice over it
In the middle of the rice, put slices of salmon, avocado, and cucumber
Carefully roll the sushi on the bamboo mat and seal the seams by applying light pressure
Do it again with the rest of the ingredients
Use a sharp knife to cut each roll into 6 to 8 pieces
Wipe the blade down between cuts to keep it clean
Toast some sesame seeds and sprinkle them on top of the sushi slices on a platter
On the side, put soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger
