Tarte Cappuccino

Indulge in the rich flavors of cappuccino with this delightful tart. Creamy ricotta cheese infused with espresso powder atop a flaky puff pastry, finished with a sweet cappuccino glaze and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of pre-made puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C

Place the puff pastry sheet on a baking tray lined with parchment paper

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, honey, and espresso powder until well combined

Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the puff pastry sheet, leaving a small border around the edges

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed

While the tart is baking, prepare the cappuccino glaze by combining granulated sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat

Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has thickened slightly, about 5-7 minutes

Once the tart is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly

Drizzle the cappuccino glaze over the warm tart

Dust the tart with cocoa powder

Slice and serve warm or at room temperature
