These Belgium yeast waffles are light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Perfect for a delightful breakfast or brunch treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water 110F/43C
- 2 cups lukewarm milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
Instructions:
Mix yeast with warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes
After that, it will foam up
Mix the flour, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl
Mix the yeast with the milk, add the melted butter, and then add the vanilla extract
Combine well
Put the lid on top and leave it somewhere warm for about 30 minutes to rise
Just before cooking, beat in the eggs
Warm up your waffle iron and grease it if it needs it
Place the batter on the hot waffle iron and cook it until it turns golden brown
Keep warm and top with your favorite things
