Nov 1st Christmas Cheer Workshop

November started off with another amazing workshop filled with Christmas Cheer!!
We had a day filled with learning, crafting and of course laughing. Thanks to Carin and Suzanne for making our workshop awesome. These ladies have so much knowledge and experience that they were sharing with all 30 of us! it was a full house!
Carin is a Certified Copic Instructor, she taught a beginner’s class using the Spectrum Noir and Copic pens. We created a beautiful card with a gorgeous poinsettia that we were taught to colour, featuring Kaisercraft Mistletoe line.
Suzanne then came in and introduced us to some amazing products and techniques, which included the Silhouette Cameo. We learned how to use the heat transfer vinyl on a wine bag, also to use our image from the Silhouette to create a very cute little onesie with a red bird on it using fabric paint. We also were introduced to the Wow melting powder, and I must say WOW!! this product is unbelievable. We created a resin like embellishment just by heating the product and adding embossing powder. And lastly, using a hot glue gun to create really cool embellishment! hot glue gun?? ……… who knew! very cool!
Then our day finished off with a workshop taught by myself, we created 3 beautiful cards and a set of 5 Cedar blocks. 2 of the cards were created using the Silhouette Cameo and the Cedar blocks were hand cut by my super, amazing husband Gary. These were created using the My Mind’s Eye Sleigh Bells Ring line, simply stunning.
